We noticed that Aiden was not using his right hand as much as his left. I decided to take him to the doctors and see what she thought about it. She noticed that it was not just his right hand that he was not using but it was his right side. She thought it to be best to get him in for an MRI. She said she thought he might have had a stroke.
So on the second of October he had his MRI. It was a early morning and Aiden was very hungry, but he was my little trouper. Waiting for it to be over was very hard for me. I just wanted to see him and know he was OK. After the MRI he was very unsure of how he was feeling. But he soon after was back to his happy little self.
We got the results of the MRI a few days after. The doctor was actually right Aiden had indeed had a stroke. Due to the stroke it had caused bleeding in the brain. They said it has started to heal but he would need therapy to further help his physical development. The therapy has seemed to be helping. Aiden is starting to pull him self up to things and is crawling more than just the army crawl which he has mastered over the past few months.
I am just happy to know what is going on with my little guy. And with all of our family I know he will have so much love and support to help him through this.
